ENDO 2025 Poster: Addressing Stigma and Barriers in Childhood Obesity Care

Presented at ENDO 2025, this research poster by Adhera Health highlights findings from participatory workshops with over 50 underserved Latino families navigating childhood obesity. The study reveals how cultural disconnects, stigma, and limited access to mental health services create barriers to care—and how a digital health solution, co-designed with families, can offer meaningful support.

The work was funded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities and serves as the foundation for a culturally responsive, AI-powered intervention to reduce stigma and improve outcomes.
